Esta publicación trata sobre una compilación del programa, de las ideas generales y de las monografías realizadas por los alumnos, acerca de la didáctica del taller de diseño. El seminario forma parte de los cursos de la carrera de formación docente de la facultad de arquitectura, diseño y urbanismo de la universidad de buenos aires. Las clases contaron con la participación de docentes que actúan en las distintas cerras que se dictan en la facultad.

En este libro se estudia la manera en la que el arquitecto configura la estructura. La relación entre la estructura y lo que la envuelve. Cómo la estructura se manifiesta en la arquitectura. Cuándo y por qué la estructura se oculta. Cuándo y por qué la estructura se emplea como efecto ilusorio, bien de la gravedad, bien del espacio. Pero sobre todo querríamos comprobar que la estructura es algo más que un sustentar. Describes the degree and license mechanisms for the professional practice of architecture in Peru from the first courses in the 19th century through the beginning of the 20th century, with a detailed presentation of the school formation of the architects from 1910 to 1950 in the School of Engineering of the university. The book was originally the author's masters thesis and won the prize "Héctor Velarde" during the XI Bienal Nacional de Arquitectura, organized in 2004 by CAP.
