Entre todos los excelentes naturalistas que formaron parte de la que se llamó la “generación intermedia” de científicos y sobresalieron tanto en España como fuera de ella nos encontramos al profesor Juan Vilanova y Piera, que dio una imponente lección de cómo los conocimientos geológicos y paleontológicos podían servir para identificar y fechar la más singular manifestación de la vida y la cultura de los españoles prehistóricos.

Esta revista fue realizada clandestinamente por un colectivo de cristianas y cristianos que se asumía “en constante nacimiento”. En razón de su fe, el colectivo tuvo el coraje de arriesgar su propia vida para modular una voz política disidente. El primer número de la revista explicita que la “simple proclamación explícita de la verdad, asumir sus riesgos pero también su eficacia liberadora es la tarea de NO PODEMOS CALLAR”. Los integrantes de la publicación siguen siendo, en su inmensa mayoría, desconocidos hasta el día de hoy.
