Mirar, ver y estudiar la ciudad de Santander desde un punto de vista matemático. Este ha sido el objetivo básico de este trabajo y, para ello, observamos la geometría de la arquitectura de sus edificios y monumentos, sus formas, sus detalles y ornamentos, por un lado, y la historia o anécdotas de esos lugares, por otro. En su segunda edición, revisada y aumentada,se ha vuelto a utilizar la fotografía como herramienta fundamental, ayudada por el software GeoGebra, los applets Descartes y la tecnología Flash.
