El presente volumen estudia en exclusividad la atmósfera típica y las circunstancias de la transgresión en la ciudad de Zaragoza durante los siglos XVII y XVIII, tratando de dar una explicación sociológica al característico fenómeno de la ilegalidad urbana en la vida cotidiana, y analizando pormenorizadamente los sitios donde muchas de estas actividades ilícitas tenían lugar: prostíbulos, iglesias, casas de juego… o incluso la calle, que fue un espacio constantemente aprovechado e invadido por las multitudes en los momentos álgidos de cada revuelta popular.

En México, en 1992 fue reformado el artículo 27 constitucional. A la par, fueron emitidas leyes secundarias, entre éstas la Ley Agraria, con la innovación de permitir la entrada de actores privados en la explotación y aprovechamiento de tierras, aguas, bosques y minerales. Sin embargo, el sustancial cambio legal que supuso la apertura de las tierras ejidales a un mercado formal no generó las transformaciones de la seguridad jurídica que desde la lógica neoinstitucional se esperaban.
