Los documentos y los testimonios hablan de una fuerte represión en Sanlúcar la Mayor una vez fue tomada la plaza por los “elementos de orden” de los sublevados en 1936. Se ha procedido en la medida de lo posible a identificar las víctimas mortales de dicha represión mediante documentos, fotos, historias y recuerdos de sus familiares y allegados. Este libro quiere ser un homenaje y reconocimiento póstumo a estas víctimas sanluqueñas “silenciadas” por la represión, el miedo, el odio, la vergüenza, el estigma y el olvido.
