Introducción al libro Bilbao. Leyenda de oro y hierro Este libro –Bilbao. Leyenda de oro y hierro-, de diez cortos capítulos, reúne otros tantos artículos escritos por el escritor alavés, Ramiro de Maeztu en el diario ‘El Imparcial’, durante los meses de agosto y septiembre de 1901, con el título general de Bilbao; parte de ellos pergeñados desde esta misma ciudad y el ultimo ya desde Madrid donde residía. Precisamente, estos mismos días del mes de agosto, tuvo lugar el polémico discurso de don Miguel de Unamuno con motivo de la inauguración de los ‘Primeros Juegos Florales ...

The book is devoted to young architect Christian Wiese's architecture firm, presenting a selection of buildings that reflect international tendencies harmoniously combined with Ecuador's heritage and values. His already prolific and international well recognized practice includes technologically advanced buildings, characteristic for their clarity and transparency and unique for his masterly manipulation of interior and exterior space light interaction.

The work of the Colombian architect Harold Martínez Espinal, shows a way to purposeful way of thinking the architecture in the suburbs. This book makes a journey from his first works in the 1960's and 1970's, determined by the influence of modern architecture, until the beginning of the second millennium where his thought continues.
