Sinopsis del Libro

Libro La imágen sin límites

Anthological exhibition of Cuban photography, fifty artists and one hundred images allow an extensive tour of the development of photography in Cuba since its arrival on the island in 1840 to the present. With this exhibition, curated by the specialist Rafael Acosta de Arriba, the exhibition of Cuban photography returns to the Museum's halls. Somehow a similar attempt was made in 1983, when another representative sample of our photography was deployed to date. For the occasion, a catalog has been published in which several specialists discuss photography in Cuba, prominent women photographers and renowned international artists who have worked in the country throughout almost 180 years of island photography are mentioned, as well as They update the most important events that occurred within the scope of the lens in the period between one exhibition and another. This book is a testimony of the exhibition for the service of researchers, students and teachers.

The band was created in Mexico ... where it played one local concert, then came to Sheffield, where it played ...

Hay que decir, que Leal seleccionó dichas áreas de una manera relativamente arbitraria, con propósitos meramente operativos. Éstas fueron: el Golfo de México, el Sureste, el Centro, el...

Torero (Spanish Edition, CL)

Libro Torero (Spanish Edition, CL)

With Torero, Ruven Afanador juxtaposes the incredible beauty of young bullfighters and old-world Latin traditions with a couture-inspired vision of the opulent costumes and the ritualistic elements of the matador culture, and narcissism, an integral aspect of fashion photography. Afanador opens the door to the famously closed society of bullfighters, offering his elegant, private view of the young matadors raised in a centuries-old Latin tradition, capturing their balletic beauty, and their distinctly erotic aura. Through these iconic portraits, Afanador also gorgeously documents the...
