Describes the degree and license mechanisms for the professional practice of architecture in Peru from the first courses in the 19th century through the beginning of the 20th century, with a detailed presentation of the school formation of the architects from 1910 to 1950 in the School of Engineering of the university. The book was originally the author's masters thesis and won the prize "Héctor Velarde" during the XI Bienal Nacional de Arquitectura, organized in 2004 by CAP.
