Durante los últimos años las políticas de igualdad de género en España han desarrollado fuertes dinámicas de cambio. Se examina la dimensión institucional de género en el ámbito central, autonómico y, específicamente, en el local y se reflexiona sobre la intervención social. Se analizan los aspectos conceptuales, la acción de profesionales y la perspectiva de género que se aplica. Se incorporan, además, los resultados de un estudio cuantitativo sobre las estructuras municipales de género en España, proporcionándose información sobre programas, proyectos, etc.
