Juro lealtad a la bandera (I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag) teaches students about the Pledge of Allegiance. This book uses intriguing primary source images and documents and simple sentences to engage students in reading as they build their social studies content knowledge. For use in the classroom or at home, this Spanish book includes a simple glossary, captions and an index to introduce informational text features to young readers and provide additional reading support.

We propose a study of selected texts by the French sociologist Gilles Lipovetsky. We will analyze some of the key texts of this author, namely: from "Paradoxical happiness (essay on consumer society)", chapter 4 and "The empire of the ephemeral", chapters 4 and 5. In addition, the texts "Private space and public space in the postmodern era" and "Private space and the revolution of autonomy".
