Architectural guide to the city of Guadalajara, with a selection of close to 300 buildings representative of all time periods. The guide is divided in 3 sections: the first, the largest and medullar part of the book is the presentation of the buildings; a second section is an inventory of buildings important in the history of the city but now disappeared, and a third section includes location maps with recommended itineraries and routes. Each entry includes the name, date and brief history of the building and the name of the architect.

With numerous maps, photographs and illustrations, this volume presents a detailed and intelligent analysis of the city.

El relato que se presenta trata de unir los acontecimientos documentados con la historia de la comunidad que habitó Baños de la Encina desde su reconquista por Fernando III hasta su independización del Concejo de Baeza en 1626.

Estos analisis sobre el lenguaje de la arquitectura se dirigen "a todos aquellos que aprecian lo suficiente la arquitectura para empezar a reflexionar sobre ella en lugar de limitarse a su contemplacion."
