Andrés Orgaz Martínez analiza los paralelismos entre la Revolución mexicana y la revolución turca, las similitudes y contradicciones entre el gobierno de Plutarco Elías Calles y Kemal Atatürk, “el padre de los turcos”, y las repercusiones de estos conflictos en otras naciones del mundo. El autor abandona la aproximación eurocéntrica con la que se han estudiado las revoluciones del mundo y las analiza como reestructuraciones que representan un nodo en la red de contacto de pensamiento humano que une espacios geográficos tan aislados como México y Turquía.
