La Santa Biblia NVI (Nueva Versión Internacional) es un clásico moderno. A un bajo costo con un tipo de letra legible.

Hemos procurado escoger y redactar los himnos de este himnario principalmente de acuerdo a su forma de expresar bíblicamente las alabanzas a nuestro Dios, y conforme a su doctrina en la instrucción y exhortación al pueblo de Dios.

In The Gnostic Gospels, the author suggests that Christianity could have developed quite differently if Gnostic texts had become part of the Christian canon. Gnosticism celebrates God as both Mother and Father, shows a very human Jesus's relationship to Mary Magdalene, suggests the Resurrection is better understood symbolically, and speaks to self-knowledge as the route to union with God.
