The objective of the book is to rethink in a critical fashion, the Barcelona experience since 1973 until 2004, the year when Universal Forum of Cultures was celebrated and which marks the beginning of a crisis characterized by the distancing between the city and its inhabitants. The investigation process has questioned the urban model.
